CMT-SBT20B Speaker splitter?

Hi. We've recently purchased a Sony CMT-SBT20B to replace our old bedroom stereo, I had my old stereo cabled to a speaker in the ceiling of my bathroom so that we could listen to music whilst showering or in the bath, however the speaker connections on the CMT-SBT20B are a sealed connection so there is no way for me to connect my bathroom speaker. Wondered if anyone knew of an available splitter device, or a quick bodge, that would allow this connection?

As far as I know, this model only works with the supplied speakers. I wouldn't recommend trying to make any changes to the system as this could void the warranty.

Thanks for the messages. In the end I have decided to cut the speaker wire and rewire it through the original splitter that i had and all works fine. Getting sound through my waterproof speaker in my bathroom and can switch back to the stereo speakers with no loss of quality.
