topic HT-CT180 broken subwoofer - compatible with different model? in Hi-fi Systems

My wireless subwoofer broke a while back and it was decided that it could not be fixed but the soundbar works completely fine. Unfortunately there is no where that selling the specific subwoofer for this system (HT-CT180) as a standalone but there are some second hand sony wireless subwoofers which are different models. Would these be compatible with my current soundbar?

Hi Arran,

We've have some more information for you.

This soundbar and the subwoofer are considered one unit and are integral to one another, so unfortunately, stand-alone subwoofers will not work with this soundbar.

Best wishes,

Ed
