Broken 3v plug - what to do?

The plug for my dream machine has broken and looking around hardware stores I cant find a replacement plug. Talking to the people in Maplins they say that kind of plug you cant fix yourself at home.

should i send the device off to Sony?

Hi I have a dream machine docking station and my plug is broke but I have my model number but I am the sure what to do with it
