Sony mini stacking system MHC-S3

I hope someone can help! my partner loves his stacking system but the three disc changer has started to jam, this machine is around 17 YO but other than having to bash the disc changer to un-jam it there is nothing else wrong with it, my question is....can I get the disc changer repaired? if so how much? or is there a cd player that I can use to replace the broken one that would link up to the tape deck, radio and amp? We also added a record player so it has to be capable of joining to this also.
