      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi – there are a few troubleshooting steps you could perform to isolate the problem.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Try plugging headphones in and switching to 'radio'. If you get sound, the receiver/amplifier is ok and you should check the speaker connections.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Make sure the speaker cables are connected properly. Check the &lt;A title="CMT-FX300i User Guide pdf" href="https://docs.sony.com/release//CMTFX300i.pdf" target="_blank"&gt;User Guide&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;to see how they should be hooked up.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Check the 'Troubleshooting' section of the guide.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
