topic NW-HD3 - Sony have pulled Sonic Stage. So now what? in Portable Audio

Hi all,

I have tried to use my Sony NW-HD3 walkman this morning but I understand that Sony have taken a decision to completely pull the Sonic Stage download from their support website. This is the only application I am aware of that allows me to transfer music to the device. So I'm very confused as to what Sony is expecting users of this hardware to do going forwards? There is no alternative software for music transfer being offered on the support page. After a long time googling I found old references to VAIO music transfer but unfortunately no working download links for it.

I hope we're not saying that Sony's solution is for us all to put our NW-HDx players in the bin just because they've decided not to support their software anymore. Is this the case?

If it's not the case, can anyone enlighten me as to how to use this player going forwards?

Cheers all,

Brian.
