Problem with Play Memories Home

Play Memories Home came with my Sony Camera.

When I try to save an edited video I get a message saying "PMBMCEWrapper 64 has stopped working. " Windows then shuts the programme.

This now happens every time.

I hvae uninstalled and re-installed the software but no joy.

Any ideas??

What version of PMH are you currently using?

Also what system do you have (e.g. is it Windows 10 64-bit?)

I am using Play Memories home Version 5.4.02.06120 which I think is the latest version.

I have Windows 10 64 bit.

Any help appreciated.

Anybody got any ideas? Should I go and buy a different video editor?

Hi @MichaelF2

You've tried uninstalling / reinstalling already so it may be worth

trying running it in compatibility mode for Windows 7 / 8 just to see if it makes any difference.

(find the .exe file - right click - properties - compatibility)

I have seen different program users have this kind of problem, but theirs was either fixed by

uninstalling / reinstalling software or by a fix issued by a company.

Some had success with the compatibility fix though.

If not then you'd be best contacting Sony Support

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried the compatability and it changed some things and told me to test. It didn't work exactly the same problem "wrapper stopped working".

I guess I will trySony Support.
