5mb image file restriction - COST 6 KUDOS.

Today i had to delete and renter my 6 kudos image 'Altered Reality' to the Elements photo competition.I had resized a copy jpeg to as close the to 5mb image file size as possible,In fact it was bang on the 5mb size as viewed in photoshop elements 14. I have taken to reviewing images in windows photo viewer, upon reviewing images i have been clicking on properties which gives image file size,i found one image at 5mb was 4.86mb and another image at 5mb was 5.04.I do not know if the latter counts as a disqualification from competition,in theory it could.In future i will make sure i'm well under the 5mb requirement.

On the positive side i did notice whilst resizing my image a small white bird feather floating in the water (how that got past me the first time i don't know).Happily it exists no more.

Yeah, its always best to aim to be just under

the max file size if you can, just to be sure
