Idk what to do anymore,. Sony, please let us use (minimum 1.5ghz cpu usage) , we cant play high demand game, since this device uses snapdragon 820, i buy this for gaming..Please let the Xperia Action Gaming to run it.

Sadly no, 😔 problem: thermal limit by sony 54° cpu. Cpu downclock auto from 1400ghz to 800mhz, makes all hd game unplayable/lag. Game needs to run minimum 1.5ghz to run smooth.

The only u can play smooth

-play under water

-root to disable thermal limit

-play without charge at 12.00 a.m

-buy new phone (8 core)

Hello, actually i tried to set the pubg as "not optimized" in battery optimization and the game didnt lag any more, and i applied in other game and i havent facing lag so far

1st=unlock bootloader(read backup ta partion) IMPORTANT

2nd=install twrp and root

3rd (hmm)

4th delete thermal(android o) Backup before Delete -system/vendor/etc , find "thermal-engine-.conf" or "thermal-engine-lite.conf" . (USE ROOT FILEMANAGER or Esfilemanager) googleapps.

5=install kernel auditor(googleapps) ,evrytime want play HD game set

Make sure cpu temperature not over 80°celcius(for safety). Im using CpuFloat apps to monitor temperature.

Im using nougat, so go to settings -> battery -> click menu on top right corner -> battery optimization -> on "apps" tab , untick pubg and your pubg automatically copied to "not optimized" tab

I've tried that long ago, nothing happened, still lag. Find "GFX Tool" on Google play store,reduce resolution PUBG.help add more fps/smooth.

i think pubg hates snapdragon 820

its not an issue with sony all most all sd820 devices i tried su**ed as well

-Uninstall all the apps you do not use

-Some apps you may find important but not use regularly, force stop all those apps before playing pubg.

-Disable the system apps you do not use like life log, whats new etc.

-Enable xperia gaming action and turn on the 1st, 2nd and last option for gaming. (Block interruption, Disable data traffic, Performance for gaming)

-Play with a complete full charge

-Do not play while connecting charger but you can use power bank in some cases

-Change the settings inside the game (Low graphics and low frame rate can enable your device to give you a good gaming performance)

-Boost your device by avg protection before start gaming

-Always try to use system apps to solve your problems

-Running Airplane mode can be helpful because It decrease battery consumption and increase device performance by stopping the network searching. (You can use this option if you play through wifi)

-Use as much as less app

-Use chrome for using facebook (Disable the facebook app)

-Use facebook messenger lite (If you use facebook messenger)

-Disable facebook messenger before playing

-I think you can play PUBG smoothly right now.

Xperia gaming action is a crap...

My xiaomi redmi 3s with sd 616 can play PUBG better and LAG LESS. (on wifi due only 3g network)

XZ with SD820 even on the entry level setting (too low) can't play smoothly regardless on 4G mobile network or wifi...

Sony should be ashamed with their software team... They just didn't know how to maxxed out the SD820...
