Hi @aria2017, let me see if I can help out here.

From your description it sounds a bit like Call waiting is not activated on your phone. If you have activated call waiting, you can handle multiple calls at the same time. When it is activated, you will be notified by a beep if you receive another call. Select to either accept the incoming call or decline it. The person calling you will simply hear the dial tone and if you decide to decline the call, they will either hear the busy tone or be directed to your voicemail service, if supported and activated.

To activate or deactivate call waiting:

Find and tap Settings > Call > Additional settings.
To activate or deactivate call waiting, mark or unmark the Call waiting checkbox.

Hi Martin thanks for your advice but have already done that. got Experia L3 when I phone my parents the line is always busy even when I am in the same house they've got Experia MA

In that case, check if the number they are calling from is blocked on your phone. Open the phone app > Tap the menu icon (Three vertical dots) in the top rigth corner > Settings > Blocked numbers. If their number is shown in this list, tap the x-icon next to their number to unblock the number.

If this do not work, I would suggest that you get in contact with your service provider.
