Can't update to 9.1.A.0.489

I just got 4 day ego a brand new Xperia T (Provider = Videotron, in Canada).

It's on Android 4.0.4 (Build 7.0.A.3.195)

i just saw on the web-site http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/software/phones/xperia-t/

that a new version vith Android 4.1.2 (9.1.A.0.489) is avalible....but every time a try to update it, the soft told me that my photne is already up-to-date......witch is not the case.

i tought i could flash it with the sony updater, but my rom can't be unlocked by the sony software

i tried the online updater, NOTHING

i tried the PC companion, NOTHING

i tried the firmware updater, NOTHING

i checked directly in the phone, NOTHING

is there's anything i can do ??

Did you try Repair my Phone in PC Companion.?

Uninstall PC Companion, reinstall PC Companion, restart your computer, try to update.

Or try SUS again

hey im having same problem and also uninstalled and re installed but no luck it just doesnt do anything plz help lol

The Sony site update info isn't the most accurate,

even though it says there is an update available,

it might not be.

You'll just have to wait I'm afraid.

thanks for that ive tried everyway possible pc companion and through sony, but just doesnt do anything does it make a difference what part of england you live in??? but thanks still

Is yours sim free or locked to a network?

If you're in England and it's sim free, it should be available to you.

If it's locked, you'll have to wait for the operator to release it.

You'll need to check with them.

I've done all that already, nothing...a big ZERO

I'm in Canada, not in england, but still.

My sim is ''locked'' to my operator, but when i click on the option, it bring me to the PC companion web page.......on the sony site...

Yes, the update is being rolled out right now. However, it won't be available for everyone at the same time due to different customizations, regions and countries.

hello first post i got my phone 2 weeks ago(great so far) then tried pc companion and was told update available-tried and failed locking phone and just displaying logo.

tried volume and on button reset ended up having to go back to tesco mobile-no problem changed phone straight away.

i am now VERY reluctant to update again.

please let us know when a stable update is available.

I advice you not to update your phone!!! Just look how many people are complaining after the update,

Am one of them who are not satisfied with the update, walkman is not functioning correctly, battery is dragging like hell, and one small minor thing is that they removed some notification tones, and changed the icon of small apps to look like Samsung ones and they are ugly!!!

Yes many features are added and they are nice but if the phone is not usable or drain in half the time then sorry Sony keep you update for your self and don't give us half baked updates, just like Apple did with the maps and till today they have bad publication for it!!!!
