my lcd screen is displaying in negative

i dont know why but since i replaced my keyboard membrane my lcd decided to display in a very bad contrast and the screen goes almost negative effect inverting the colours how ever in the menu it reverts back to normal when i make the icons hover to change them about i have no idea what it could be has any one else had this problem before ??? can you offer any advice, i cant send it to sony as the warrenty ran out ages ago thank you

i have included some pictures here for you to see

1 st one is the home screen as you can see very dull and thats with brightness turned up

2nd one menu after i hit rearange icon button bright vivid display again

and then theres the inverted colours

seems like a hardware issue, I see that the digitizer/touchscreen its cracked, perhaps the LCD its damaged.

you could test your screen with service menu

you have 2 options if its a hardware issue

1) take your phone to a Sony repair center

2) do it yourself, the later its a lot cheaper and not that complicated

yeah im thinking only way forward is a new screen, i applyed a new theme and all the menus were great bar the home page and when it went to original sony xperia theme it was all messed up again so im going to try to install a new version of android and see if it clears because the screen still displays the menus fine. worth a shot, first i have to solder a new usb port to the motherboard as that has gone too then i should be able to update the phone i will let you know if it solves the problem if not new screen it is not to pricey of ebay :smileygrin:
