Why I can't update my Sola to ICS?

Hello Sony and all Xperia users.I have a weird problem with my Sola (MT27i) ! I'm from France and I want to update my smartphone to Android 4.0 ICS but I can't!!! Now I have the 2.3.7 Android version and the Build Number is 6.0.B.3.184. Everytime I connect my phone to my computer, PC Companion says that my Sola is up to date.How can I update my phone?

if i understand it correctly you will have to lok for your SI number. it is on the back of your phone printed on the battery.

then you have to look in this blo fotr a list meade biy Jeff. search your number if its on the list then you can update your phone accordingly with the dat. No matching SI number? you'll just have to wait and keep your fingers crossed.

Thank You very much for this! I was worried about my Sola update but now I'm relieved :smileywink:.And it seems that I have two choices : 1.Wait for my update with PC Companion. or 2.Make the manual update.

Mine is on the lists but I don't want to update after seeing so much bad feedbacks the "cold" ICS update can be...

...and yeah, don't complain Sony yet, look at the bright side, they did updated the lists 2 days ago...

So I guess it's another 16 days to wait... (first release and the latest release are differences of 18 DAYS!)
