Have installed 4.0 update via PC Companion 10days ago, got minor issues mostly fixable but that nasty notification LED doesn't blink blue every 5 secs anymore by:

-missed calls

-incoming SMS

-received mails

-received Whattsup messages

Sadly ihad no quarrel w LED back in 2.3. That ics update messed up my LED. Under all options i checked LED blink ON. By the way its working fine while charging, low battery blinks red, only effects the 4 matter i wrote above. Can hear message sound but LED doesn't blink anymore while screens off.

Awaiting fix/solution for this.

Did you turned on your extended standby mode, It would make your phone rest when you screen off by temporary turn off your wifi, and some background programs. To check that mode, go to home => setting => power management, you will find a entended standby mode. You may probably find your problem solved after turned it off. Hope this can help, have a nice day,Rion
