Hi! I just bought the M4 Aqua dual sim for a couple days , switching from ASUS Zenfone 2 and the Nexus 5 before that. Although speed was never impressive, I really love its build quality and the camera.

I am a Hardcore gamer and I'm a constant PS4 user. My friend owns a Z3C and he had so many positive feedbacks, including great experience with android gaming using dualshock 4 controllers, plus the remoteplay functionallity with a PS4, not to mention free movies for z3 users.

The reason why i switched to M4 aqua(or any xperia) was for its ability to sync with SONY products, but right now i cant play any sort of android games(MC5,GTA: SA,VC,RR3,NOVA3 etc.) with the M4 aqua through dualshock 4 controllers, bluetooth connectivity doesn't seemed to work. When connected, the white lights are on but i cant do anything through the DS4, it automaticlly shuts down by less then a minute. I tried this over 10 times and it still doesn't work, not even through OTG cable connection (both zenfone 2 and nexus 5 can do that) , plus there isn't an official Playstation remoteplay app for the M4 aqua thus far.

For me, it's really a major disappointment for not being able to use the DS4 and the remoteplay, i liked SONY more than any korean crap but so far nothing impresses me, not its battery life, not its price, and definitely not its software. I know my phone is not a flagship but the hardware is capable enough . I was planning to get involve with the brand, introduce myself to all the SONY TVs, stereos, headphones and cameras, and even the upcoming VR in the future. But with all the troubles i get from ps4 and now this, im really starting to get skeptic.

Is there any hope that the 5 inch phone can play games with DS4? And a remoteplay app perhaps?

Was the M4 advertized as compatible with remoteplay and/or DS4?

Judging by your link, it wasn't. But i m really hoping it was. I know SONY made it a mid range phone and people pay less for this than the flagships but it seems like it can do more than just that

I agree with you, but the way I see it, if the Xperia Z or Z1, flagship phones, lack this feature, I doubt a mid range phone will have it. We'll have to wait and see.

There's no DUALSHOCK remote play in M4 Aqua
Xperia connectivity..
But I saw someone use PS4 remote on M4 Aqua
in YouTube without root..
