Issue after sevice center update, cant update album, walkman movies etc

I had some issue with my phone and went to service center.they upated my phone to the latest build but however after that album,walkman and movies were set to old version and I am not getting latest update of them via update center.

How can I update these apps

my update center version is 2.1.1.A.0.10.3

Wait if they had updated ur phone then all of their apps would also have been updated. Or just wait till the Sony release update for apps in new firmware

I was using latest update before but after service center update that apps are set to factory version.

Current version of album:- 6.1.A.0.14

version in my phone:- 5.3.A.0.28

same goes for the other apps.

still update center does not show updates for these apps

The exact problem I am having is that before update I had latest versions of apps but after update I am left with older factory version of app.

I am trying to update factory version to latest version but seems that update center says no updates available.

I am having the same problem. I did factory reset and after that the problem started. Today I went to service center. They installed the latest firmware but there were no difference between this and factory reset. Sony apps are with lower versions and there are no notification from update center to update them. Also I am not able to update or download any apps from play store (version 4.5.10). It just showing downloading with 0 kb.

Please help.

By mistake I hit the Accept solution button (Sorry)

as for your play store issue be patient as play store will update fisrt and then you will be able to install and download updates and apps.

and other issue that we are facing it is still thre and waiting for someone to help out.

So u r saying i will get update for play store soon..plz tell me ur play store version...

I will go to sony service center again as I also accepted the solution..

This is a serious issue and need attention from sony ASAP....

Play store version:- 4.8.20

and after tons of mail to sony I received call from Sony, they said you will be notified when updates are available for your device.

I tried to explain that I was having latest version before but they does not seem to understand, all they are sating is plesae wait and you will be notified when update is available for your device via update center.Thats All.

PS: little disappointed

friends,

After the new update sony block the apps like album, movies, walkman etc........ because i unlocked the bootloader and flash cwm, then i got all new apps updates back.... that means sony blocks that app updation.

I have not unlocked my bootloader. its stil lock and it was a official sony update.so sony must provide update to these apps.

but if u do unlock your bootloader sony considers it out of warranty..

My Xperia M has latest software (Android 4.3 Build number 15.4.A.1.9).

But there is no update from update center for Walkman, Movies & Album.

This is very strange. Why Sony doesn't incude latest version of Walkman, Movies, and Album?
