Wifi disconnects

It only happens during screen off and only occassionally. Started happening recently. I've always had keep wifi on during sleep option enabled. Any ideas?

No.

In stamina mode anyway, it's the background data restricted but wifi keeps connected, as far as I can tell.

The disconnects I'm taking about happen sometimes during screen off. I notice on turning screen on that only 4G is on, and wifi then reconnects after a few seconds.

Seems to be happening very occasionally, like once or twice a week. No disconnects on other devices. I tried an app called wifi keep alive and it prevented it, but I shouldn't have to use it.

Test the phone in >>> safe mode and report back.
