How long is the battery warranty (Akku Garantie)

I have a Sony Xperia M4 Aqua and I bought it in December 2015 in Germany. The battery of my phone seems to be broken. I found no information about the warranty lenght for batteries in the 'warranty_phones_DE_24_5' PDF from Sony.

So here is my question:

How long does Sony give warranty for batteries in their phones? Does it madder in which country I bought it?

This may vary between markets, so I'd recommend that you get in touch with your Local support team. They are very well informed and will be able to give you are more specific answer regarding in your case, the German market!

I contacted the support team via e-mail. They said, that the battery warranty for a Sony phone is 24 months like the warranty of the phone itself.

I work globally so the warranty and such may differ between markets and asking your Local support is always the best thing to do when it comes to warranty and so forth.
