Sound coming from charger

The sound is coming when the phone battery reaches above 90% or the charger is plugged in but the usb is unconnected. I have another charger of sony that came with Xperia c3 and doesn't sound like this.
I am waiting for the reasons(scientific will be enjoyable)

Does it have any link with the battery charging as mine goes from 91 to 100% within seconds

Hi @Ajith5, I'm sorry to hear that.

I'm afraid it sounds like your charger that was included with your Xperia M5 isn't working as it should and you should stop using it immediately.

I would recommend that you get in touch with your Local support team so they can assist you further with having the charger examined at an authorized service centre.

They said they'll replace it. I charged my phone with another Sony charger but with that too, it is going suddenly from 90 to 100%. It is absolutely fault with the phone and I'm experiencing it from the date i purchased the device. Is it a software problem, hardware problem, should i show this too at cervice center or not?

Glad to hear that they are going to replace it!

How long does it take to charge the phone? The information that I have is that it should take 4 hours and 10 minutes.

Try charging your phone while it's turned off and see how long it takes from 0% to 100%.

If you think there may be something wrong with your phones hardware it's always recommended to have a technician at an authorized service centre examining your phone.

Sadly it took 3hr 20 min.
I completely used it till it switched off automatically at 0% and then charged and switched on after the battery is 100%. I think I need to show this at cervice center.

I gone to service center for checkup of my phone charging issue and they said it is due to marshmallow and nothing is required to do for that.

I'm sorry for the late reply, I have been out of office due to vacation.

If it took 3 hours and 20 minutes to charge it from 0% to 100% there is nothing to be worried about since it's 50 minutes faster than what is specified (4 hours and 10 minutes is the specifications for a full charge).

If your phone was examined at the service center and they said there is nothing wrong with it you should not be worried about your battery not being used to it's full potential and not being charged completely.

I've one problem with camera too. When a scene is selected in manual mode, camera isn't focussing properly and I'm unable to focus at a specified place by touching on the screen

When a scene is selected you will not be able to focus by touching the screen at a specific place, is there any scene in particular you are having troubles with the focusing in?

I just had a look in an Xperia M5 and I didn't experience any troubles with the normal focusing in any of the scenes that I had a look at it.

Is it just in the scene mode you are having troubles with the focusing in the camera application in general?

The situation is same when other scenes are selected too. While recording video, it doesn't focus at all.

I'm sorry for the late reply.

If you don't use SCN and take a few photos using Manual or Superior Auto, do you experience the same behaviour with the focus?

And when using SCN, what resolution is it set to, is it 21 MP 4:3 or 16 MP 16:9?

I would recommend that you clear data for the camera application as well, this will not delete any photos or videos, it will however reset the settings you have previously made in the camera application. To do that go to Settings > Apps > Camera > Storage > Clear data.
