HI! I m using Xperia m4 aqua from 7-8 months...it was working really great without hanging issues.... (but ofcourse heating problem) but from 2-3 weeks i am very frustrated about the problem arising again and again everytime when i m installing apps either from storage or downloading from play store..the problem is that when i download the app from play store with a pretty nice 3g speed Internet, it reaches to 100% but at the peek point it just not installing on system nd just showing 100% on playstore...nd when i switch off the mobile data after waiting for 1hour that download app do not exist in our phone.....and in the case of installing from storage, yesterday i was installing clash of clans at night, but it didn't installed. I waited for 1 hour to see if it gets installed but no results...so i kept my cell phone beside me while installation in progress...nd in the morning that app was installed.... So plllzzz tell me the solution asap coz i need to know what's the problem....i am not able to update any apps or download any extra apps from any store right now.....my exams are goin to start so i also can't visit sony service center.... I request u to kindly solve my problem 😔 😔

does the problem arise when you use Wifi when downloading?

try to have your speed check at speedtest.net

try to change your network type to wcdma only. this ensures that the connection will still remain a 3g instead of switching to lower speed even the downloads are almost finished.

with regards to sideloading apps,. try to place the apk file on the internal memory which is faster than the sd card.

if you are still experiencing these problems then try software repair using Xperia Companion

Welcome to the forum!

Does this happen with every app that you install? Go to Settings > App > All > Find the two applications called Download manager and Google Play > Open these apps and press Clear data for both of them, then restart your phone and start the download again.

Hi thanks for ur instant solution u gave....it really worked...nd now m able to update nd install all my applications in less than 10 seconds...now i am not havin any difficulty... Thanku very much ☺
