Santhu10, while its true that some devices are mostly software locked to just use 3g, many others are really locked to 3g and 4g is not available due hardware limitations, if then your device is 4g but you don't get coverage then the issue is that your network is not ready or your account has it disabled.

What's your device and are you sure that your account is 4g/lte enabled?

The Xperia M2 Dual D2302 does unfortunately not support 4G networks. This is due to a hardware limitation.

Since the hardware in your device does not support LTE networks there is unfortunately no way to "solve" this. You can read the white paper for your device to see what networks are supported, you can find a link to the white paper here.

Hi @Santhu10,

There are three versions of the the Xperia M2: D2303, D2305 and D2306.

D2303 and D2306 support 4G networks, D2305 does not.

If you instead take a look at the Xperia M2 Aqua then there are two versions of that model, D2403 and D2406. Both of these support 4G networks.

Hello and welcome to the forum @Hi58!

I'm afraid that the Xperia Z2 D6502 does not support LTE (4G) networks. You can see the supported networks listed below:

UMTS HSPA+ 850 (Band V), 900 (Band VIII), 1700 (Band IV),

1900 (Band II), 2100 (Band I) MHz

GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz

This information is directly from the white paper for the device, you can find the full document on this link: http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/d6503/whitepaper_EN_D6502_D6503_D6543_4.pdf

Note that the reason that that your phone does not support LTE networks is due to a hardware limitation. No form of software update will unfortunately not be able to enable this.

I'm sorry for any trouble this may cause for you, let me know if there is anything else you are wondering about!
