Open settings /apps, find sony xperia launcher (or xperia home), and clear cache, you could also delete data, and thats it.

If the apps were on the SD card and you unmounted/removed the SD card the apps will be gone, to get them back and/or remove the blue icon, you will have to re-download the apps > move them to the SD card.

Having a similar problem with an XPeria M4 Aqua, I've Googled it and had no luck finding a solution. I hadn't unmounted my SD card when the apps disappeared. I tried to clear the data for XPeria Home and I restarted the phone a number of times, neither of which helped. Problem is, I can't reinstall the apps now because of a lack of storage space. I had deilberately stopped updating them to save space but I can't download an older version now and don't have enough space for the latest versions. One thread suggested I unmount then re-mount the SD card which I tried and have probablly lost the apps for good.

In the unlikely event that they can be recovered, any tips would be appreciated.
