I have had my Sony oled 65 and sound bar for less than a week. Putting aside a crappy installation by John Lewis I have had serious sound problems from the start. The most recent is that if the sound is off for a very short time (like when I stop a movie to go to the loo!), then the sound bar times out. This seems to completely kill all the sound even if I turn the sound bar back on. Latest success was to turn the tv on and off, and I get the sound back. This is just crappy to be honest, and I am thinking of sending the whole lot back tomorrow. Any ideas before I do this? I am not a techie. I just want to use the tv everyday and have sound.
