    <description>Well, I waited until the Wife went to bed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I disabled YouView, did a Full channel scan on FreeView, got this result:&lt;BR /&gt;Number of Services found 172, there are no 'Hidden Channels'&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;On switching the TV off then back on, No 'YVM2305' Message.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I then did a Full rescan on my Samsung TV, in another room for comparison,&lt;BR /&gt;got this result: TV 119 Services&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Radio 32 "&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Others 21 "&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Total 172 "&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I dear say there are others out there who will say '172 Services should be&lt;BR /&gt;enough for any man or woman'&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I then re-enabled the YouView on the Sony TV, So far the message has not&lt;BR /&gt;occurred.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;However I now have a message that states 'the TV is not connected to the&lt;BR /&gt;internet' then after 5 minutes a message TV now connected to the internet.&lt;BR /&gt;I did nothing.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Make what you want of it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;A Happy New Year to all.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Malcolm</description>

      <title>YVM2305 message on Sony KD-49XD8305 when TV  switch on</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Each time I switch the TV on, YVM2305 appears on screen. I've contacted 'YouView' and gone though their suggestions without success.&lt;BR /&gt;The latest TV updates are done, TV has been retuned, I have 141 services tuned in.&lt;BR /&gt;Internet speed is 51.4mbps, TV connects to internet and home network with no problems.&lt;BR /&gt;So why does this message keep occurring?&lt;BR /&gt;Google YVM2305 and there’s lots of info. I'm supprise there's no posts on this site.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I have gone though the suggested checks with no improved results.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have said all along that I receive 'YouView' though my Sony TV, Model Sony&lt;BR /&gt;KD-49XD8305, this message occurs when the TV is first switched on, I have no&lt;BR /&gt;problems connecting to my 'Home Network' nor to the internet&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Maybe the answer is to disable 'YouView' in favour of 'FreeView'&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks to all who have offered suggestions to my issue.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;A Good New Year to all&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Malcolm</description>

But when it gets to the bit where it asks you to retune, just Skip that step, so you preserve the tunings you had on the Freeview side.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;See if you now still get YVM2305 or not, and report back your findings from the above.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then we can have a think about things &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Waiting ages to be able to watch TV , change channel after start-up let alone dare to look to see what's on via the guide button!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'VE now gone over to Freeview and it seems quicker already.
