Just got my hands on a SWF-BR100/W for free (Not in my posession yet) I was trying to find out if I need the wireless USB dongle - UWA-BR100 (as the sub does not come with this) or will my TV directly connect to the sub ? I noticed in the sound options there is "connect to BR100 "

Hi there

The SWF-BR100 comes supplied with a wireless transmitter (UWT-BR100):

If you dont have this, it is definately required. Ive had a look on where to get one, ebay is looking like your best bet. The UWA-BR100 will not work, different wireless dongle altogether.

I have this setup and getting all audio through sub at switch on have to power cycle TV 95% of the time to get it going.

Reported to Sony nearly a year ago suggesting a replacement dongle but they want me to bring this huge set to repair centre, no way Jose! just fix it Sony.

Another disappointed lifelong Sony customer with these 2015 Android sets.
