Hi, I have a Sony VAIO vgn-ar71j 17" that keeps turning it's self off?
It will boot up but will switch off after a few seconds, sometimes will stay on for a few mins.
Sometimes I can get as far as the desk top and the battery metre says fully charged.
I have tried a new battery and charger but no joy.
I took it to a so called Sony expert and he has no idea what the problem is.
I am a bit reluctant to send my laptop to anywhere like PC World as in the past they have simply told me I need a new mother board and tried to sell me a new laptop.
The computer is 3 years old now so no warranty.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
