Battery only 80% charged

   Why won't my battery charge beyond 80%.  It says "plugged in, not charging"

Hi pgmbuddy,

Recent vaio models have a battery care utility which is designed to charge your battery to 80% in order to try & prolong the batteries life..:smileywink:

You can disable this or set a different level by clicking Start, followed by VAIO Control Center

In Vaio Control Center click Power Management followed by Battery..

Recent vaio models have a battery care utility which is designed to charge your battery to 80% in order to try & prolong the batteries life..:smileywink:

You can disable this or set a different level by clicking Start, followed by VAIO Control Center

In Vaio Control Center click Power Management followed by Battery..
